Sultan Series
In production since 1987, Sultans are the kings. Why the stripes? They provide the sounds of both the natural and the dark. The dry unlathed parts limit the sustain, controlling the sound without sacrificing the natural feel. The Sultans cross the spectrum from jazz to fusion to heavy rock.

Turk Series
Raw and natural. Inspired by the masses. Designed for those who seek something honest, untamed and unrefined, yet exuding class. There is no lathing to soften the complex sounds created by one man and several thousand hammer hits. Designed by Agop in 1984.

Vezir Series
Very controlled and tight. The traditionally lathed top softens the sound and brings a musical versatility to the unlathed, raw underside which helps the cymbal retain its dark qualities. Pictured is the flat ride.

Mel Lewis Signature Series
A tribute to Mel's legacy is Istanbul's first signature series. Every detail of every individual cymbal has been taken in with exacting detail and replicated by the hands of Istanbul's cymbal smiths.

Agop Signature Series
The most original cymbals in Istanbul's arsenal. Crafted with only vintage hammers, lathing tools and other equipment from the 60's, They were the last project of Istanbul's founder, Agop. Each Agop cymbal comes with the legendary green logo and its own number stamped on top.

Special Edition Jazz Series
Introduced in 2004, this series captures the desirable qualities of our two most sought after jazz cymbals, the Mel Lewis and Agop Signature Series. It combines a vintage lathing pattern on top with a light Agop signature lathing on the underside and a unique finishing process...the birth of a new classic.

Celebrating 25 years of cymbal manufacturing, Istanbul produced 1000 of these exciting Limited Edition 20.5" Ride cymbals. Each cymbal is numbered, weighed and signed by the Istanbul owners, and comes with a special certificate and padded case. Limited availability!

25th Lenny White Epoch Signature Ride
Features a combination of more advanced hand hammering, shaping and lathing techniques, giving it a dry, yet cutting, full sticking sound with a thunderous, dark crash. "Epoch has the vintage sound that I've always loved!"
