Brandon Whitley
Brandon is a professionally trained drummer with 30 years of drumming experience. He’s played in many different musical situations through the years. As a young 8 year old, growing up in North Carolina, he got his first opportunity to play in a live musical setting. That experience would take him on a musical journey that would lead him to a career as a musician & teacher.
Brandon has been playing as a full-time musician & teacher for 5 years . His experience playing in churches has led him to many amazing opportunities, such as playing with Latin Grammy nominated recording artist & worship leader, Lucia Parker. He also spent some time playing for recording artist & worship leader Jason Sartain. Brandon has also spent a considerable amount of time playing with Calvary church, Rehoboth Baptist Church, Vinings Church, Crosspointe Church & North Highland Church. Brandon is currently playing fulltime for Northside Church in Roswell, GA & Lucia Parker.
In addition to playing live, Brandon has also spent some time in the recording studio. He has recorded several songs at “The Lodge Atlanta”, “Murray Sound Lab”, & “Iron, Wood, & Ivory studios”. Brandon also enjoys giving back to young musicians who share the same passion for music as he does. He really enjoys getting back to the roots of his drumming & teaching his students how to approach a kit from practicing to performing. For Brandon, playing drums & being a musician has never been & never will be about fame or money. It’s his calling in life. It’s what he was created to do. He hopes his playing encourages & inspires everyone that he plays with & for.
