Felipe Alves

Felipe Alves became a professional musician at the age of 16.
Influenced by Jazz, MPB, Pop Rock, Pop and Funk, Felipe Alves is one of the most requested sideman drummers in shows and recordings in the Brazilian musical scenario.

He recorded with the greatest names in the gospel and secular music such as: Fernandinho, Cris Durán, Ron Kenoly (EUA), Anderson Freire,  Baby do Brasil, Michael Sullivan, Toque no Altar, Jesse Robinson (EUA), Rose nascimento, Eyshila, Novo Som, Banda Nova Casa, André Valadão, Adriana Arides, Eli Soares, Kleber Lucas, Djavan, Big Band Rio Jazz, Andre Vasconcelos, Cory Henry (SnarkPuppy), BeatChords, Torcuato Mariano, Josué Lopez, Léo de Freitas, Aljava Trio, Cacau Santos, Robertinho do Recife, Rafael Castilhol, Júnior Braguinha, Sérgio Galvão, Michael League (SnarkPuppy), among others.

When he was a member of Toque no Altar, he was nominated to the Latin Grammy Awards 2008. He has also made a tour throughout Japan, USA, Portugal, Belgium, Italy, Swiss, London with this same band, and Fernandinho as well.

Nowadays he is working at Rede Globo Station, performing as a musician in the “The Voice Brasil” show as well as other TV shows and workshops.
