Vintage China Cymbals
Vintage China Cymbals and the entire Vintage series provide a unique look to Heartbeat cymbals. The special lathing and hammering as well as a small bell of each Vintage cymbal produces a dark and dry sound. Overtones are greatly reduced and the decay is very quick. Minimal lathing means minimal shimmer.
Available sizes are 20″ and 22″ rides and flat rides, 18″ and 20″crashes, 14″ and 15″ hi-hats and 18″ and 20″ Chinas. Vintage Chinas are dark and dirty sounding. Hi-hats are dark and warm. Crashes are fast. Rides have a woody and mellow stick definition. Hand crafted and hand hammered in the same way that traditional Turkish cymbals were in the 1960’s and early 70’s, the Vintage series is perfectly suited for today’s contemporary worship music.
While some cymbals from other companies may look like Heartbeat cymbals, we work to ensure specific shaping, hammering, finishing, lathing and weight of each cymbal meets Heartbeat specifications.

Classic Ride Cymbals
The Classic Ride cymbals and the entire Classic Series bring back the sound of original Turkish hand made cymbals. The classic concept of these fully lathed cymbals has been proven over and over again through the years. From the earliest of jazz drummers and bebop pioneers to the latest musical trends, The Classic series covers them all! Light Rides are ideal for using as crash rides. Medium rides feature stronger stick definition and ping for the main ride cymbal. The special Flat ride (no bell) is dry with great stick definition.

Overtones are reduced and the tone is mellowed making this series popular for recording and for live usage. Less lathing, more raw (unlathed) areas means less resonance and wash, providing a quicker decay than the Classic series. Looking for a slightly more complex sound? Look no further than the Studio!
Available in rides, crashes, hats, splashes and Chinas, the Studio series is one of Heartbeat’s most popular. Many use an entire set up of Studio series, while other mix it with Classic and/or Epic series. Traditional Turkish hand crafted sounds and looks, but perfectly suited for today’s worship music. Custom Dry Ride Cymbals
Custom Dry Ride Cymbals and the entire Custom Dry Series combine the production methods of original Turkish hand made cymbals with a new look and sound. Heartbeat Custom Dry cymbals are a special series that features the unique finish of the Custom Series (an unlathed surface with a brilliant lathed finish around the edges). The difference is the lathing is reduced considerably from the Custom series to produce an extremely dry, quiet and very short resonance.
The Custom Dry series features limited sizes with 22″ and 24″ rides, 18″ and 20″ crashes and 15″ hi-hats. They are extremely popular for venues that have lively sound issues, like gymnasiums, or where there is a lot of brick or concrete.

Rides are available in 20″, 22″ and 24″ in light or medium weights (24″ is available in light only). If you like to crash your ride cymbals, then the Studio Light Rides are for you. They open up like large crashes, but still ride very well. If you prefer mainly riding your rides, then choose the medium rides. They produce a stronger ping and better stick definition.
