10 Hi-hat Cymbals: Some would say that Heartbeat is celebrating their 10th year since the first Heartbeat cymbal was produced in 2010. Others would say that this series is rated a 10 out of 10. We will let you decide.
Dark in color, dark in sound. Mimimal lathing. Thin. Hand crafted. Heavily hammered. Rich, complex, fast, natural.
Starting off with modified Custom/ Custom Dry hats we give it the Epic bell and add in some of the characteristics of the Vintage and Jazz series to produce these amazing looking and sounding cymbals.
The Heartbeat 10 cymbals feature unique gold logos and model designations. Hand crafted and hand hammered in the same way that traditional Turkish cymbals were in the 1950’s and 1960’s. While the Heartbeat Epic series is buttery and warm; and the Jazz series has a more controlled and complex sound, the 10 series takes you even further into the dark side! A unique cymbal series from a unique company.

Raw Crash Cymbals
Raw Crash Cymbals and the entire Raw series provide an earthy look and dark, quiet sounds. The only lathing on these cymbals is the brightly polished bell. Overtones are greatly reduced and the decay is very quick.
Available sizes are 20″, 22″ and 24″ light rides, 16″, 18″, 20″ and 21″ crashes and 18″ and 20″ Chinas. Hi-hats are available in 14″, 15″, 16″, 17″ and 18″. Hats are meaty and sloshy sounding. Crashes are fast. Rides have mellow stick definition. The Raw series provide traditional Turkish hand crafted sounds and looks, but is perfectly suited for today’s worship music. Minimal lathing means minimal shimmer.

Studio Crash Cymbals
Studio Crash Cymbals from Heartbeat: striking looks and amazing sound. The raw bell and raw stripe converts the Heartbeat Classic cymbal into the Studio series. Overtones are reduced and the tone is mellowed making this series popular for recording and for live usage. Less lathing, more raw (unlathed) areas means less resonance and wash, providing a quicker decay than the Classic series. Looking for a slightly more complex sound? Look no further than the Studio!
Available in rides, crashes, hats, splashes and Chinas, the Studio series is one of Heartbeat’s most popular. Many use an entire set up of Studio series, while other mix it with Classic and/or Epic series. Traditional Turkish hand crafted sounds and looks, but perfectly suited for today’s worship music. The special lathing and hammering as well as a small bell of each Vintage cymbal produces a dark and dry sound. Overtones are greatly reduced and the decay is very quick. Minimal lathing means minimal shimmer.
Available sizes are 20″ and 22″ rides and flat rides, 18″ and 20″crashes, 14″ and 15″ hi-hats and 18″ and 20″ Chinas. Vintage Chinas are dark and dirty sounding. Hi-hats are dark and warm. Crashes are fast. Rides have a woody and mellow stick definition. Hand crafted and hand hammered in the same way that traditional Turkish cymbals were in the 1960’s and early 70’s, the Vintage series is perfectly suited for today’s contemporary worship music.

Epic Ride Cymbals
Epic ride cymbals and the entire Epic series are fully lathed like the Heartbeat Classic series, but feature a smaller bell and special lathing and hammering. The rich, warm and natural sounds are ideal when a mellow sound is desired. The buttery, dark and washy sounds are well suited for jazz and venues requiring a quieter sound.
Available in rides, crashes and hats, the Epic series has been known to reduce cymbal volume by 25% when compared to typical store bought machine made cymbals.
