10 Series China Cymbals
The Heartbeat 10 cymbals feature unique gold logos and model designations. Hand crafted and hand hammered in the same way that traditional Turkish cymbals were in the 1950’s and 1960’s. While the Heartbeat Epic series is buttery and warm; and the Jazz series has a more controlled and complex sound, the 10 series takes you even further into the dark side!

Raw Crash Cymbals
Raw Crash Cymbals and the entire Raw series provide an earthy look and dark, quiet sounds. The only lathing on these cymbals is the brightly polished bell. Overtones are greatly reduced and the decay is very quick.
Available sizes are 20″, 22″ and 24″ light rides, 16″, 18″, 20″ and 21″ crashes and 18″ and 20″ Chinas. Hi-hats are available in 14″, 15″, 16″, 17″ and 18″. Hats are meaty and sloshy sounding. Crashes are fast. Rides have mellow stick definition. The Raw series provide traditional Turkish hand crafted sounds and looks, but is perfectly suited for today’s worship music. Minimal lathing means minimal shimmer.

Epic Crash Cymbals
Epic Crash cymbals and the entire Epic series are fully lathed like the Heartbeat Classic series, but features a smaller bell and special lathing and hammering. The rich, warm and natural sounds are ideal when a mellow sound is desired. The buttery, dark and washy sounds are not only perfect for jazz and venues requiring a quieter sound.
Available in rides, crashes and hats, the Epic series has been known to reduce cymbal volume by 25% when compared to typical store bought machine made cymbals. Epic crash cymbals are available in 16″, 17″, 18″, 19″, 20″, 21″, 22″ and 24″ diameters. But, the rides crash very well due to their special hammering, shaping and light weights. Special Edition crashes add two rows of large hammer hits to provide a trashier crash.

Studio Crash Cymbals
Studio Crash Cymbals from Heartbeat: striking looks and amazing sound. The raw bell and raw stripe converts the Heartbeat Classic cymbal into the Studio series. Overtones are reduced and the tone is mellowed making this series popular for recording and for live usage. Less lathing, more raw (unlathed) areas means less resonance and wash, providing a quicker decay than the Classic series. Looking for a slightly more complex sound? Look no further than the Studio!
Available in rides, crashes, hats, splashes and Chinas, the Studio series is one of Heartbeat’s most popular. Many use an entire set up of Studio series, while other mix it with Classic and/or Epic series. Traditional Turkish hand crafted sounds and looks, but perfectly suited for today’s worship music. Custom Hi-hat Cymbals
Custom Hi-hat cymbals and the entire Custom Series combine the production methods of original Turkish hand made cymbals with a new look and sound. Heartbeat Custom cymbals are unique cymbals just as Heartbeat is a unique company. These cymbals feature a special finish on the unlathed surface and a brilliant lathed finish around the edges. The Custom series produce less overtones, a very controlled sound, and yet good projection but with a quick decay.
The Custom series features light and medium rides in 20″, 22″ and 24″ diameters, crashes from 14″ to 20″ diameters, hats from 13″ to 16″ diameters and effects (bells and splashes). It is a favorite with sound techs. Depending on the room dynamics, Custom series cymbals work so well in the church environment that you might consider removing the drum shield.
