10 Series Ride Cymbals: Some would say that Heartbeat is celebrating their 10th year since the first Heartbeat cymbal was produced in 2020. Others would say that these rides are rated a 10 out of 10. We will let you decide.
Dark in color, dark in sound. Mimimal lathing. Thin. Hand crafted. Heavily hammered. Rich, complex, fast, natural.
Starting off with a modified Custom/ Custom Dry light ride we give it the Epic bell and add in some of the characteristics of the Vintage and Jazz series to produce these amazing looking and sounding cymbals.
The Heartbeat 10 rides feature unique gold logos and model designations. Hand crafted and hand hammered in the same way that traditional Turkish cymbals were in the 1950’s and 1960’s. While the Heartbeat Epic series is buttery and warm; and the Jazz series has a more controlled and complex sound, the 10 series takes you even further into the dark side! A unique cymbal from a unique company.

Studio China Cymbals
Studio China Cymbals and the entire Studio series provide striking looks and amazing sound. The raw bell and raw stripe of the converts the Heartbeat Classic cymbal into the Studio series. Overtones are reduced and the tone is mellowed making this series popular for recording and for live usage. Less lathing, more raw (unlathed) areas means less resonance and wash, providing a quicker decay than the Classic series. Looking for a slightly more complex sound? Look no further than the Studio!
Available in rides, crashes, hats, splashes and Chinas, the Studio series is one of Heartbeat’s most popular. Many use an entire set up of Studio series, while other mix it with Classic and/or Epic series. Traditional Turkish hand crafted sounds and looks, but perfectly suited for today’s worship music. Chinas are available in 18″ or 20″ diameters.

Heartbeat Custom cymbals are unique cymbals just as Heartbeat is a unique company. These cymbals feature a special finish on the unlathed surface and a brilliant lathed finish around the edges. The Custom series produce less overtones, a very controlled sound, and yet good projection but with a quick decay.
The Custom series features rides, crashes, hats and splashes. It is a favorite with sound techs. Depending on the room dynamics, Custom series cymbals work so well in the church environment that you might consider removing the drum shield. Crashes are available in 14″, 16″, 17″, 18″, 19″ and 20″ diameters. Need a larger crash in the Custom series? The Custom Light Rides are shaped and made the same way as the Custom Crash cymbals!

Vintage China Cymbals
Vintage China Cymbals and the entire Vintage series provide a unique look to Heartbeat cymbals. The special lathing and hammering as well as a small bell of each Vintage cymbal produces a dark and dry sound. Overtones are greatly reduced and the decay is very quick. Minimal lathing means minimal shimmer.
Available sizes are 20″ and 22″ rides and flat rides, 18″ and 20″crashes, 14″ and 15″ hi-hats and 18″ and 20″ Chinas. Vintage Chinas are dark and dirty sounding. Hi-hats are dark and warm. Crashes are fast. Rides have a woody and mellow stick definition. Hand crafted and hand hammered in the same way that traditional Turkish cymbals were in the 1960’s and early 70’s, the Vintage series is perfectly suited for today’s contemporary worship music.
