Raw Crash Cymbals
Raw Crash Cymbals and the entire Raw series provide an earthy look and dark, quiet sounds. The only lathing on these cymbals is the brightly polished bell. Overtones are greatly reduced and the decay is very quick.
Available sizes are 20″, 22″ and 24″ light rides, 16″, 18″, 20″ and 21″ crashes and 18″ and 20″ Chinas. Hi-hats are available in 14″, 15″, 16″, 17″ and 18″. Hats are meaty and sloshy sounding. Crashes are fast. Rides have mellow stick definition. The Raw series provide traditional Turkish hand crafted sounds and looks, but is perfectly suited for today’s worship music. Minimal lathing means minimal shimmer.

Hi-hat sizes range from 12″ to 17″ in diameter. For a softer sound, try the Classic light hats (14″ to 17″). Looking for a stronger “chick”? Try the Classic medium hats (12″ to 15″). Need a fast and crisp “chick”? The 14″ Flat bottom with holes might be the answer! Perhaps you can’t make up your mind whether you like the Classic or the Studio series better.
