Raw Ride Cymbals
Raw Ride Cymbals and the entire Raw series provide an earthy look and dark, quiet sounds. The only lathing on these cymbals is the brightly polished bell. Overtones are greatly reduced and the decay is very quick.
Available sizes are 20″, 22″ and 24″ rides, 16″, 18″ and 20″crashes and 18″ and 20″ Chinas. Hi-hats are available in 14″, 15″, 16″, 17″ and 18″. Hats are meaty and sloshy sounding. Crashes are fast. Rides have mellow stick definition. Raw Chinas are very organic and trashy sounding. The Raw series provide traditional Turkish hand crafted sounds and looks, but is perfectly suited for today’s worship music. Minimal lathing means minimal shimmer. Also available is a 24″ Raw ride with a smaller bell.

They open up like large crashes, but still ride very well. If you prefer mainly riding your rides, then choose the medium rides. They produce a stronger ping and better stick definition.
