The Smak Stack Cymbal set from Heartbeat was born out of our artist requests. This is our take on creating an acoustic version of a sampled clap. Although not our original concept, we add a special Heartbeat touch (as we do to all our products) to create the Smak Stack.
We take three very thin, very warped cymbals without bells and nest them together for a unique sound. Sizes are 12″, 14″ and 16″. These cymbals are only sold as a set and not available individually.

Vintage China Cymbals
Vintage China Cymbals and the entire Vintage series provide a unique look to Heartbeat cymbals. The special lathing and hammering as well as a small bell of each Vintage cymbal produces a dark and dry sound. Overtones are greatly reduced and the decay is very quick. Minimal lathing means minimal shimmer.
Available sizes are 20″ and 22″ rides and flat rides, 18″ and 20″crashes, 14″ and 15″ hi-hats and 18″ and 20″ Chinas. Vintage Chinas are dark and dirty sounding. Hi-hats are dark and warm. Crashes are fast. Rides have a woody and mellow stick definition. Hand crafted and hand hammered in the same way that traditional Turkish cymbals were in the 1960’s and early 70’s, the Vintage series is perfectly suited for today’s contemporary worship music.
While some cymbals from other companies may look like Heartbeat cymbals, we work to ensure specific shaping, hammering, finishing, lathing and weight of each cymbal meets Heartbeat specifications.

Overtones are reduced and the tone is mellowed making this series popular for recording and for live usage. Less lathing, more raw (unlathed) areas means less resonance and wash, providing a quicker decay than the Classic series. Looking for a slightly more complex sound? Look no further than the Studio!
Available in rides, crashes, hats, splashes and Chinas, the Studio series is one of Heartbeat’s most popular. Many use an entire set up of Studio series, while other mix it with Classic and/or Epic series. Traditional Turkish hand crafted sounds and looks, but perfectly suited for today’s worship music. Raw Crash Cymbals
