The Smak Stack Cymbal set from Heartbeat was born out of our artist requests. This is our take on creating an acoustic version of a sampled clap. Although not our original concept, we add a special Heartbeat touch (as we do to all our products) to create the Smak Stack.
We take three very thin, very warped cymbals without bells and nest them together for a unique sound. Sizes are 12″, 14″ and 16″. These cymbals are only sold as a set and not available individually.

Raw Crash Cymbals
Raw Crash Cymbals and the entire Raw series provide an earthy look and dark, quiet sounds. The only lathing on these cymbals is the brightly polished bell. Overtones are greatly reduced and the decay is very quick.
Available sizes are 20″, 22″ and 24″ light rides, 16″, 18″, 20″ and 21″ crashes and 18″ and 20″ Chinas. Hi-hats are available in 14″, 15″, 16″, 17″ and 18″. Hats are meaty and sloshy sounding. Crashes are fast. Rides have mellow stick definition. The Raw series provide traditional Turkish hand crafted sounds and looks, but is perfectly suited for today’s worship music. Minimal lathing means minimal shimmer.
While some cymbals from other companies may look like Heartbeat cymbals, we work to ensure specific shaping, hammering, finishing, lathing and weight of each cymbal meets Heartbeat specifications. All Heartbeat cymbals carry a two year limited warranty.

The classic concept of these fully lathed cymbals has been proven over and over again through the years. From the earliest of jazz drummers and bebop pioneers to the latest musical trends, The Classic series covers them all! Light Rides are ideal for using as crash rides. Medium rides feature stronger stick definition and ping for the main ride cymbal. The special Flat ride (no bell) is dry with great stick definition.

Custom Ride cymbals and the entire Custom Series combine the production methods of original Turkish hand made cymbals with a new look and sound. Heartbeat Custom cymbals are unique cymbals just as Heartbeat is a unique company. These cymbals feature a special finish on the unlathed surface and a brilliant lathed finish around the edges. The Custom series produce less overtones, a very controlled sound, and yet good projection but with a quick decay.
The Custom series features rides, crashes, hats and splashes. It is a favorite with sound techs. Depending on the room dynamics, Custom series cymbals work so well in the church environment that you might consider removing the drum shield.
