Vintage China Cymbals
Vintage China Cymbals and the entire Vintage series provide a unique look to Heartbeat cymbals. The special lathing and hammering as well as a small bell of each Vintage cymbal produces a dark and dry sound. Overtones are greatly reduced and the decay is very quick. Minimal lathing means minimal shimmer.
Available sizes are 20″ and 22″ rides and flat rides, 18″ and 20″crashes, 14″ and 15″ hi-hats and 18″ and 20″ Chinas. Vintage Chinas are dark and dirty sounding. Hi-hats are dark and warm. Crashes are fast. Rides have a woody and mellow stick definition. Hand crafted and hand hammered in the same way that traditional Turkish cymbals were in the 1960’s and early 70’s, the Vintage series is perfectly suited for today’s contemporary worship music.

Studio China Cymbals
Studio China Cymbals and the entire Studio series provide striking looks and amazing sound. The raw bell and raw stripe of the converts the Heartbeat Classic cymbal into the Studio series. Overtones are reduced and the tone is mellowed making this series popular for recording and for live usage. Less lathing, more raw (unlathed) areas means less resonance and wash, providing a quicker decay than the Classic series. Looking for a slightly more complex sound? Look no further than the Studio!
Available in rides, crashes, hats, splashes and Chinas, the Studio series is one of Heartbeat’s most popular. Many use an entire set up of Studio series, while other mix it with Classic and/or Epic series. Traditional Turkish hand crafted sounds and looks, but perfectly suited for today’s worship music. Chinas are available in 18″ or 20″ diameters.

Raw Ride Cymbals
Raw Ride Cymbals and the entire Raw series provide an earthy look and dark, quiet sounds. The only lathing on these cymbals is the brightly polished bell. Overtones are greatly reduced and the decay is very quick.
Available sizes are 20″, 22″ and 24″ rides, 16″, 18″ and 20″crashes and 18″ and 20″ Chinas. Hi-hats are available in 14″, 15″, 16″, 17″ and 18″. Hats are meaty and sloshy sounding. Crashes are fast. Rides have mellow stick definition. Raw Chinas are very organic and trashy sounding. The Raw series provide traditional Turkish hand crafted sounds and looks, but is perfectly suited for today’s worship music. Minimal lathing means minimal shimmer. Also available is a 24″ Raw ride with a smaller bell.

In a day like today when most cymbals made are pumped out by machines, the Classic series exemplifies the craftsmanship of yesterday, but with a sound for today! The concept of these fully lathed cymbals has been proven over and over again through the years. From the earliest of jazz drummers and bebop pioneers to the latest musical trends, the name Classic says it all!
Hi-hat sizes range from 12″ to 17″ in diameter. For a softer sound, try the Classic light hats (14″ to 17″). Looking for a stronger “chick”? Try the Classic medium hats (12″ to 15″). Need a fast and crisp “chick”? The 14″ Flat bottom with holes might be the answer! Perhaps you can’t make up your mind whether you like the Classic or the Studio series better. We might just have the answer for you: the 17″ Classic/Studio Hybrid combo!

Epic Ride Cymbals
Epic ride cymbals and the entire Epic series are fully lathed like the Heartbeat Classic series, but feature a smaller bell and special lathing and hammering. The rich, warm and natural sounds are ideal when a mellow sound is desired. The buttery, dark and washy sounds are well suited for jazz and venues requiring a quieter sound.
Available in rides, crashes and hats, the Epic series has been known to reduce cymbal volume by 25% when compared to typical store bought machine made cymbals. Epic ride cymbals are warm and buttery sounding. Available in diameters from 19″ to 24″. Want something a bit jazzy? Listen to the Epic 21″ Ride with two rivets! Something unique?
