Studio Hi-hat Cymbals
Studio Hi-hat cymbals and the entire Studio series provide striking looks and amazing sound. The raw bell and raw stripe converts the Heartbeat Classic cymbal into the Studio series. Overtones are reduced and the tone is mellowed making this series popular for recording and for live usage. Less lathing, more raw (unlathed) areas means less resonance and wash, providing a quicker decay than the Classic series. Looking for a slightly more complex sound? Look no further than the Studio!
Available in rides, crashes, hats, splashes and Chinas, the Studio series is one of Heartbeat’s most popular. Many use an entire set up of Studio series, while other mix it with Classic and/or Epic series. Traditional Turkish hand crafted sounds and looks, but perfectly suited for today’s worship music.
Hi-hats are available in 13″, 14″, 15″, 16″ and 17″ diameters. And, if you can’t decide between the Classic and the Studio series, we have something for you! The hybrid Classic bottom/Studio top combo.

Custom Splash & Bell Cymbals
Custom Splash & Bell Cymbals: Splashes and bells combine the production methods of original Turkish hand made cymbals with a new look and sound. Heartbeat Custom cymbals are unique cymbals just as Heartbeat is a unique company. These cymbals feature a special finish on the unlathed surface and a brilliant lathed finish around the edges. The Custom series produce less overtones, a very controlled sound, and yet good projection but with a quick decay.
The Custom series features light and medium rides in 20″, 22″ and 24″ diameters, crashes from 14″ to 20″ diameters, hats from 13″ to 16″ diameters and effects (bells and splashes). It is a favorite with sound techs. Depending on the room dynamics, Custom series cymbals work so well in the church environment that you might consider removing the drum shield. Custom splash cymbals and bells are available in 10″ and 12″ diameters and make great effects cymbals to add to your set up.

The difference is the lathing is reduced considerably from the Custom series to produce an extremely dry, quiet and very short resonance.
The Custom Dry series features limited sizes with 22″ and 24″ rides, 18″, 20″ and 22″ crashes, 15″ and 16″ hi-hats. They are extremely popular for venues that have lively sound issues, like gymnasiums, or where there is a lot of brick or concrete. One of Heartbeat’s quietest series, this is also our newest.

Classic Crash Cymbals
The Classic Crash Cymbals and the entire Classic series from Heartbeat Percussion bring back the sound of original Turkish made cymbals of the early 60’s and 70’s. The classic concept of these fully lathed cymbals has been proven over and over again through the years. From the earliest of jazz drummers and bebop pioneers to the latest musical trends the Classic series covers them all.
Crashes are all medium thin in weight for excellent musicality. Many of today’s machine made cymbals are bright, heavy, loud and bleed through into the drum microphones. Heartbeat Classic crashes reduce overall volume and overtones making them a popular choice of churches everywhere. Dark and thin, these cymbals provide a lovely quick decay and warmth not often found in machine made mass produced cymbals.
